Things to do in Bir Billing
- Paragliding and sunsets: visit the Billing launch site, discuss a tandem flight and spend a slower evening around Bir’s landing area. Flights depend on weather and operator availability.
- Monasteries and local culture: explore Tibetan colony lanes and discuss visits to Chokling or Palpung Sherab Ling. We plan around opening times and any visitor restrictions.
- Forest walks and waterfalls: choose a walk around Bir and Gunehar suited to your pace. Waterfall access depends on current trail and weather conditions.
- Cafés, thukpa and momos: make time for local food and conversation. Send us the places you have seen in Instagram reels and we’ll discuss what fits.
- Camping, bonfires and music: ask what can be arranged for your dates. These experiences depend on hosts, weather and local rules.
A relaxed 2-day Bir Billing itinerary
Day 1 · Find your feet in Bir
Arrive, settle in and keep the afternoon easy: a monastery visit, Tibetan colony lanes, a café stop and sunset near the landing area. Choose dinner around your group’s tastes.
Day 2 · Up to Billing, then a slower afternoon
Plan a Billing visit and, if confirmed by the operator, a tandem flight. Leave time for a forest walk or a food stop before departure. The order can change with the weather and your arrival time.
A 3-day itinerary with more room to explore
Use the extra day for a longer local walk or discuss a Rajgundha trek or Barot Valley extension. These require their own travel time and access checks; we won’t promise both as quick stops. If you prefer less driving, spend the day around Bir instead.
These are planning examples, not fixed packages. Your final itinerary will confirm the route, timings, transport, stays and activities.
Rajgundha trekking and Barot Valley trips
Tell us how much walking you enjoy, whether you want an overnight stay and how many days you have. We’ll discuss a Rajgundha route suited to the group or a separate riverside trip to Barot. Transport and guiding are included only when listed in your agreed quote.
Common Bir Billing trip questions
What is the best time to visit Bir Billing?
If paragliding is your priority, ask us about spring or autumn dates and confirm conditions nearer your trip. No season guarantees a flight. Rain, wind, visibility, local access and the operator’s decision can change the plan, so leave some flexibility.
What is the Bir Billing paragliding price?
Ask us for a current quote for your dates. We’ll confirm what the flight arrangement includes, along with any transport or other extras, before you agree. There is no fixed price or instant booking on this website.
Can you plan a budget-friendly Bir Billing tour package?
Yes. Share your group size, dates, budget and priorities. We’ll discuss stays, local travel, guiding, meals and activities, then confirm the inclusions and payment terms in your personalised quote.
How many days should we spend in Bir Billing?
A 2-day plan can focus on Bir and Billing. Three or more days give you room for slower mornings or a valley extension. Your arrival time, weather and preferred pace matter more than ticking off every place.
Can we enjoy Bir without paragliding?
Absolutely. Monasteries, village lanes, forest walks, local food, café stops and sunsets can make a trip on their own. Tell us what your group enjoys.
How do we reach Bir Billing?
Tell us your starting city and arrival point. We can discuss the onward journey and any local pickup or transfers to include in your quote. Confirm tickets and current schedules before travelling.
Do you provide a private local tour guide?
Our local host or a trusted team member accompanies your group along the agreed itinerary. We currently plan for groups of at least five. Use the trip form to request a callback.
